Judicial Appointments

Pursuant to Article 5, Section 18 of the Indiana Constitution and Indiana Code, the Governor of the State of Indiana has the authority to fill judicial vacancies as they occur in the state.

As a general rule, the application period for judicial openings will be 30 days after posting on this website. Notwithstanding, the Governor’s Office may extend the application period in its sole judgment or discretion.

Applicants for any of the vacancies listed below should complete and submit this application.

·    Randolph Superior Court
The Office of Indiana Governor Mike Braun is now accepting applications for the position of judge of the Randolph Superior Court. Qualified applicants should complete and submit the judicial application found below by no later than 9 am Eastern time on Monday, January 12, 2026. Applications should be returned to the Governor’s Office via email judicialapplications@gov.in.gov.
