Our Focus

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship is dedicated to advancing three proven training models: State Earn and Learn (SEAL) programs, Certified Pre-Apprenticeships, and Registered Apprenticeships as these pathways offer students, jobseekers, and current employees the opportunity to build valuable skills while earning wages, creating strong foundations for long-term career success.

Each program is industry-driven, nationally recognized, and fully aligned with Indiana's education and workforce systems. This ensures participants receive high-quality training while employers benefit from a reliable pipeline of skilled talent.

By concentrating on these structured, scalable models, we are expanding access to sustainable opportunities that directly connect Hoosiers to high-demand careers.
