As interest and demand for Registered Apprenticeship continues to grow in the state of Indiana, the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is dedicated to training and developing organizations to become skilled Registered Apprenticeship practitioners to bridge the gap between local employers and the skilled workforce they need.
Indiana Registered Apprenticeship stakeholders play a crucial role in developing, managing, and expanding registered apprenticeship by ensuring they align with industry needs and workforce development goals. By equipping organizations with knowledge and expertise, Indiana can enhance economic growth, address labor shortages, and create sustainable career pathways for workers, ultimately strengthening the local economy.
The Indiana Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship is pleased to provide training opportunities through the Apprenticeship Indiana Institute initiative, for local organizations and groups to become skilled as registered apprenticeship practitioners. These free training opportunities may consist of facilitated virtual and live sessions within a cohort setting designed to engage participants in learning all aspects of building, launching, and managing a Registered Apprenticeship program. These comprehensive trainings will provide participants the tools, resources, and connections needed to assist organizations throughout their Registered Apprenticeship journey.
