Annual Public Hearings

In accordance with the Indiana Taxpayer Bill of Rights, the Indiana Department of Revenue holds an annual public hearing each year. As required by Indiana law, the purpose of this hearing is to provide customers an opportunity to suggest improvements to policies, processes, and procedures to help DOR better administer tax laws.

2024 Annual Public Hearing

DOR will host this year’s annual public hearing on May 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. ET with in-person and virtual options to attend. Individuals may submit comments to DOR prior to the meeting by emailing them to Bizoutreach@dor.IN.gov. Comments will be included in the meeting minutes posted online after the hearing.

To attend in-person:
The hearing will be held in Conference Room D of the Indiana Government Center South Building located at 302 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Individuals wishing to speak during the hearing should email DOR at Bizoutreach@dor.IN.gov by May 17 to reserve a speaker slot.

To attend virtually:
The hearing will also be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams. Virtual attendees do not need to register in advance and can simply log in by clicking the button below shortly before the meeting, which will begin promptly at 10 a.m. ET.
