The Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF), in partnership with the Indiana Business Research Center (IBRC) at Indiana University, created the below tax bill projection tools for Indiana taxpayers. These tools will allow the taxpayer to enter their property's assessed value and possible deductions to see a range of tax bill estimates.
The estimates provided by these tools are projections only and should not be taken as a statement of true tax liability.
To look up your assessed value, click HERE and find the value labeled "Assessed Value Total Land and Improvements." This value will be highlighted in yellow.
To Calculate an Estimate of Your Bill:
Select a tax district from the dropdown box at the top of the form. The district numbers match the district number you receive on your bill. Enter an assessed value for the property. Next select any deductions that may apply to the parcel by either clicking on the checkboxes, or entering an amount in the 'Other Deductions' text box. Finally, click on the 'Calculate This Bill' button to get an estimated bill.
This option only is available for counties that have received their certified budgets. As each county's budget is certified, this calculator will be updated.
