The term of First District attorney member Stephen Williams is expiring. Attorneys who live in the first geographic district for the Court of Appeals are eligible to run for the Commission and vote for a new Commission member from among the qualified candidates. The following four attorneys in good standing and residing in Evansville, Richmond, Lebanon, and New Albany are candidates in the election. They each provided a biography and a personal statement concerning their efforts and achievements towards the improvement of the administration of justice.
Voting was open until 4:00 p.m. on January 28, 2022, votes were tabulated, and Tony Patterson was elected as the district one member.
