Advisory opinion on attorney use of flat fees

In a new advisory opinion, the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission addresses the question, “How can lawyers ensure their flat fee agreements comply with the duty to charge reasonable fees?” The publication of this opinion satisfies part (i) of the Supreme Court’s Order on Final Recommendations Made by the Commission on Indiana's Legal Future.
