I have strived to improve the administration of justice by developing training and education material for attorneys and judges, working to strengthen Indiana’s public defense system, speaking at local high schools and colleges about various aspects of the justice system, encouraging young minorities to pursue legal careers, and advocating zealously for equal justice. I serve on the Indiana Appellate Institute Committee coordinating moot sessions for attorneys across Indiana to practice oral arguments before panels of seasoned appellate advocates. As a result of this service, I received a President’s Award for Service to the Indianapolis Bar Association.
