Crawford County was founded in 1818. It was formed from portions of Harrison, Perry, and Orange counties. Currently the county seat is English however Leavenworth, Fredonia and Mt. Sterling had their time holding as county seat. Tourism and hospitality is a top industry in Crawford County.
