We are the Carthage Volunteer Fire Department. A proud and dedicated family of volunteer community members committed to serve the Carthage Community with integrity, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. Our mission is to provide rapid, and highly skilled response to all fire and medical emergencies, ensuring the safety and well being of those we are honored to protect.
As a solely volunteer department, our strength comes from the community and passion of our members. Each individual answers the call to service, sacrificing personal time to train, respond and support the community and its greatest time of need. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, knowing that every call demands excellence, teamwork, and trust.
We place a strong emphasis on ongoing education and advanced training, ensuring our firefighters are prepared to meet the evolving challenges of emergency services. From hands-on drills to continuous learning opportunities. We are dedicated to maintaining the skills necessary to serve effectively and safely.
Beyond emergency response, we are committed to proactive fire prevention, public education, and community outreach. We believe that protecting our community begins long before an alarm sounds, and we take pride in building a lasting relationship through service,visibility, and engagement.
