Application for Blue River Permit A Memorandum of Understanding between the Indiana DNR and the Blue River Commission, defines the responsibilities of the Commission.

Indiana Natural, Scenic, and Recreational River System Law describes the criteria and purpose of the the River system.

The River Commission Law establishes River Commissions for streams defined above.

The Indiana Administrative Code defines the boundaries and jurisdictions of the Blue River that relate to the above mentioned laws. (pdf format)

All work done along or in the Blue River in Harrison, Crawford and Washington Counties will require a Blue River Permit. You may download the application online.
