Employment

The Indiana State Excise Police are the law enforcement division of the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission and are fully certified police officers with powers across the state of Indiana.  The primary mission of the agency is to provide professional and efficient law enforcement service with an emphasis on Indiana's alcohol & tobacco laws.

Announcement: ISEP is conducting a Lateral Hiring Process to select up to 16 qualified candidates for positions as Indiana State Excise Police Officers! Lateral applicants must possess a current Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) Tier I Certification or have completed an equivalent P.O.S.T. certified basic training course in another state. Deadline to enter the current lateral process is September 30, 2023, 11:59 PM (EDT).
