New eBooks Added to INSPIRE, Downloadable to Mobile Devices

Gale Virtual Reference Library on INSPIRESeveral new eBooks have been added to Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) on INSPIRE and are now available to all Indiana libraries. While the new eBooks have been automatically added to libraries' Gale accounts, accessing MARC records requires an additional step via Gale's easy-to-use Marc Record Tool and entering the INSPIRE-specific invoice number (20120731).

Additionally, Gale has developed helpful resources for maximizing your patrons' INSPIRE eBook experience, including instructions for downloading GVRL titles to mobile devices like iPads, Kindles and Nooks. This user guide and other valuable search and navigation tip sheets can be found on the INSPIRE training page. A direct link for GVRL is available using INSPIRE's "search by database" function.

GVRL eBooks should not be confused with EBSCO eBooks, which is a comprehensive professional development collection. GVRL titles are primary reference materials. Additionally, EBSCO eBooks available via INSPIRE cannot be downloaded to mobile devices.

Please Update INSPIRE Widgets and Links

INSPIRE WidgetPlease check your website to see if it features the new logo, and more importantly, the correct link when connecting your patrons to INSPIRE. The best way to ensure your INSPIRE link is correct is to simply use http://www.inspire.in.gov. All INSPIRE widgets and logos are available on the INSPIRE marketing page.
