INDOT employs a qualifications based selection process in awarding professional services contracts. Prequalification is one element of this process.   A Consultant who desires to provide professional services to INDOT shall first become prequalified with the Department.  All firms desiring to provide services that require work to be performed by or under the supervision of a registered engineer, architect, or surveyor must be prequalified with INDOT.  Categories of work that require prequalification that include such services are listed in the INDOT Consultant Prequalification Manual.

The web-based consultant prequalification package submitted through the Professional Services Contracting System (PSCS) is the only prequalification application accepted by INDOT’s Prequalification Section. Consultants not currently prequalified will need to enroll as a new business in ITAP.

Submit questions regarding Consultant Prequalification to
and add the consulting firm's name to the subject line.
