Residential Owner's Policy Rates (Owner's Policy protects Buyer)

  • Rates shown represent a standard Owner's Policy, protecting the Owner, involving a one to four family residential dwelling.
  • The Amount of Coverage that will apply is typically based on loan amount or purchase price, but may vary in certain circumstances.

Description of Rates shown for each Company

  • Filed Owner's policy rates for the following Amount of Coverage: $50,000; $100,000; $150,000; $200,000; $250,000; $350,000; $500,000
  • Discounts Offered when issuing title policy in case of a Refinance, Reissue or New Home Construction (if criteria met) (Criteria Example: Reissue Discount may only apply when policy is to be issued on real property currently insured by an owner's policy issued within the last 10 years)
  • Simultaneously Issued Loan Policy rate is charged when a Loan Policy (protects Lender) is issued in addition to the Owner's Policy (protects Buyer) simultaneously.
  • Endorsement charges for two to three endorsements, on average, apply depending on mortgage requirements. Please check with the Insurer to determine Endorsements that may apply. (Endorsement rate information shown may not apply to commercial transactions or unique circumstances)
  • Closing Protection Letter rate is charged either as a flat fee or a per letter fee. Parties that may receive a closing protection letter may include: Buyer(s), Seller(s), Lender, Borrower(s)
