Indiana's Minority Business Enterprise Center (MBEC) was created to foster the growth of minority business and celebrate Hoosier entrepreneurial spirit. The MBEC Program offers standardized business assistance services to minority firms with “rapid growth-potential.” By developing a network of strategic partnerships, the MBEC will provide a holistic business enhancement model and a vast array of client services. The MBEC Program will concentrate on serving firms capable of generating significant employment and long-term economic growth. The MBEC Program will leverage telecommunications technology, the Internet, and a variety of online computer-based resources to enrich already thriving enterprises.
