If you have a question about the state's environment, you can contact the Indiana Department of Environmental Management by phone, by regular mail or by e-mail. If you see something that should not be in the water or on the land, you can call the Environmental Emergency line 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a general rule, e-mail addresses are composed of the first letter of the name, followed by the first seven letters of the last name, followed by @idem.in.gov.

- If the last name has two surnames, only the first surname will be used. Example:
