The Brethren Annual Meetings marker dedication took place Friday, August 11, 2006, near Market and 7th Street, North Manchester.
Kirk Borgmann (Pastor of the North Manchester Church of the Brethren), Don Rinearson (President of the North Manchester Town Council), and Ferne Baldwin (President of the North Manchester Historical Society) took part in unveiling the marker.

"Gathering Music," a group of local singers, provided entertainment for the dedication.
Paula Bongen (left) poses with Sarah Major (portrayed by Joan Deeter). Sarah Major is believed to be the first woman to preach publicly in North Manchester.

Ferne Baldwin, President of the North Manchester Historical Society, addresses the crowd during the dedication.
Don Rinearson, President of the North Manchester Town Council, also addressed the crowd during the dedication.
Kirk Borgmann, Pastor of the North Manchester Church of the Brethren, closed the dedication with a few words to the crowd.
Following the dedication, members of the crowd headed to the North Manchester Historical Society for more festivities.
