Curriculum and Resource Guide
This guide is the result of the Indiana Governor’s Council ‘s Community Transportation Initiative (CTI) The purpose of CTI was to generate energy and creative ideas to promote an expanded transportation system in Indiana. The CTI project used an academy model to train teams representing leadership in service, business, and government from local communities in the state. The model uses a series of steps to create a working plan specific to the needs of a community. The steps can be used independently or as training tool for a larger class comprised of multiple teams.

This updated brochure replaces the Interacting with People with Disabilities publication. It is designed to enhance understanding and communication in interactions with people with disabilities. It provides information on how words and phrases help to shape societies perceptions of people with disabilities and suggestions for everyday interaction. Consumer Guide to Indiana Medicaid Waiver Home and Community Based Waiver Services Programs Fourth Edition: March 2007
This 46 page Guide is designed to help people with disabilities and their families understand Indiana's Medicaid Home and Community-Based Waiver Program as well as a variety of other home and community services funded by various programs in Indiana. It explains the services available, application process, how to choose a provider, what to do if there are problems, lists additional resources for information or assistance and more. It will help you understand how to navigate the system to insure the services you get are effective and meet your needs. Responding to Disability: A Question of Attitude
This questionnaire is designed to stimulate thinking and dialogue. It is not intended to test knowledge of disability or attitudes toward people with disabilities. As people increasingly find themselves in situations involving people who are disabled they need to make quick decisions on how to respond. This questionnaire provides an opportunity to think about situations involving people with disabilities, to respond, and then to consider the various responses more carefully.
