Indiana University Southeast, a regional campus of Indiana University, is a four-year, public, comprehensive university located in New Albany, Indiana, just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1941, it provides high-quality educational programs and services that promote student learning and prepare students for productive citizenship in a diverse society, and that contribute to the intellectual, cultural, and economic development of our region. Our safe, walkable campus is just six miles from exciting downtown Louisville, which offers cultural excitement and a wealth of famed events, alongside opportunities for internships and post-graduation employment in Fortune 500 companies. The campus is home to a diverse and eclectic student community. Besides our core of traditional students who arrive as freshmen straight out of high school or homeschool, nontraditional students such as adult learners and veterans also play a prominent role in shaping campus life. Student involvement is high, with over 100 student groups and organizations. If you don’t see one that fits your needs, you can start your own! We know that there are many ways to reach a personal and professional goal. But for us there is only one goal: to help you get ready for the next step in your academic and professional journey.
