Emergencies: Dial 911

Fire Chief: Dale Vanderbur

Some of our members proudly call Edgewood home, while others come from neighboring areas. Regardless of where they live, our dedicated volunteer firefighters—including several state-certified EMTs—respond to fires, accidents, and medical emergencies throughout our community. We also provide mutual aid to assist surrounding towns when needed.

Our department operates with 30 members and apparatus consisting of an engine, a pumper/tanker, two BLS ambulances, a grass truck, and a battalion truck, ensuring we’re prepared to handle a wide range of emergencies.

In an emergency requiring an ambulance, always dial 911.
