Inmate Visitation

Introducing the New Way to Visit at Morgan County Jail

Morgan County Jail is excited to announce a new approach to staying connected with your loved ones. In our continuous effort to enhance safety and security while maintaining important connections, we are moving from traditional in-person visits to a more flexible and accessible remote visitation system. Here's everything you need to know about this new visitation method:

How It Works:

  • Remote Only Visitation: Onsite visitation has been replaced with a remote visitation system. This means you can now connect with inmates from anywhere, using just a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
  • Free Weekly Visits: To ensure that inmates and their loved ones stay connected, we're offering one free remote visit per week for each inmate. This is part of our commitment to supporting the well-being of inmates and their families.

Starting Your Remote Visit:

  1. Access the CPC App: Log in on your device and navigate to the "Video Visitation" section within the CPC App. Here, you'll find a list of approved inmates and their online statuses. Select the inmate you wish to visit with to start the session.
  2. Privacy and Security: All remote visits use a blurred background feature for privacy, ensuring that only the participants' faces are visible during the visit, with no background distractions or information shown.
  3. Affordable Connection: After the free weekly 20-minute visit, remote visits are charged at a rate of 20 cents per minute. This fee structure is designed to be accessible while ensuring the service's sustainability.

Getting Started:

  • Create an Account: Visit www.inmatesales.com or call 1-877-998-5678 to set up your visitor account. This account allows you to request visitation approval, after which you can purchase visitation minutes.
  • Download the App: To participate in video visits, download the www.inmatesales.com visitation app on your device.
  • Availability: Enjoy the flexibility of scheduling your visits from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm, seven days a week.

What You Need:

  • To join a remote visit, you'll need a device with a camera, speaker, and reliable high-speed internet connection.

This new visitation system at Morgan County Jail is designed to keep families connected without the constraints of travel and scheduling in-person visits. We're here to support you through this transition to ensure that your experience is as smooth and positive as possible.
