Commissary Services

The jail commissary shall be operated in a manner consistent with Indiana law.

All inmates will be given the opportunity to order commissary item(s) unless the inmate has insufficient funds in the account to purchase the item(s) or the inmate is on disciplinary status.

A personal trust account will be maintained for each inmate that will include all money collected that the inmate had on them at the time of book-in and also any money that is deposited for an inmate while they are confined at this facility.

To be eligible to purchase commissary, an inmate must have money deposited into his/her account on Monday.

Inmate’s friends or family may send a money order in the mail addressed to the inmate, the money order will be processed and deposited into the inmates trust account, and the inmate will receive a receipt of the deposit.
