Readopts rules regarding petitioning for an advancement from the school technology advancement account, definitions concerning transfers and transfer/tuition, and Indiana Code that applies to a person who intends to remain in Indiana for longer than 30 days; requirements regarding the school population requirement of reorganized school corporations, student health testing, educational service centers, school accreditation, school performance and growth, and accountability; requirements regarding adult high school performance and improvement, special education definitions, special education general provisions, special education requirements for nonpublic schools, special education program monitoring, the general administration of programs, procedural safeguards, confidentiality of information, identification and evaluation, special education eligibility criteria, determination of special education services, related services, transitions, and transfer of rights; requirements regarding discipline procedures, complaints, mediation, and due process procedures, child count and data collection, and special education and related services provided by Choice schools; requirements regarding the general criteria of vocational education; requirements regarding teacher training and licensing, regular summer school programs, preparation of educators, initial practitioner and practitioner licenses, and school settings and license content areas; requirements regarding the issuance and revocation of various licenses and permits, workplace specialist licenses, the interpreter permit for the deaf and hard of hearing in educational settings, the endorsement of school psychologists as independent practice school psychologists, the certificate of multilingual proficiency, and teacher preparation program standards and benchmarks.
