Wells HOA Rates

Wells Homeowners Association, Inc. has received IURC approval of new water rates in Cause No. 45450-U. The association provides service in Miami County.

The OUCC has recommended approval in its February 2, 2021 testimony.

The monthly residential water fee will rise from $30.00 to $40.00 to cover operating and maintenance costs, including planned well replacements. Wells HOA's current water rates were approved in 1995.

Wells HOA filed this case under the state's Small Utility Filing Procedure. The procedure is a streamlined process aimed at reducing rate case expenses. But the standard of review by the OUCC and IURC is the same as in all rate cases.
