German Township Water District Rates

German Township Water District, Inc. has received approval of new rates in IURC Cause No. 45340-U. The not-for-profit utility provides service in Vanderburgh and Posey Counties. Its current rates were approved in 2003.

The OUCC filed testimony on Nov. 2, 2020. The utility filed its response on Nov. 6, 2020.

German Township Water District requested the rate increase through the state's Small Utility Filing Procedure. The procedure is a streamlined process aimed at reducing rate case expenses. But the standard of review by the OUCC and IURC is the same as in all rate cases.
