DeMotte Water/Sewer Ordinance

UPDATE (7-28-2021): The IURC has issued an order approving DeMotte's request.

The Town of DeMotte is seeking exclusive approval to provide water and sewer service outside the city limits in Cause No. 45444.

The case's public file is available on the IURC website. A settlement agreement is currently pending.

State law gives municipal utilities the exclusive right to provide service outside their limits if approved by the IURC.
