L.M.H. Utilities, Inc. Rates
LMH Utilities, Inc. is seeking a rate increase in IURC Cause No. 45307-U.
LMH is an investor-owned utility providing sewage disposal service in Dearborn County.
The utility filed its petition on October 16, 2019. The OUCC is reviewing the request and is scheduled to file testimony on February 20, 2020.
Customers who wish to comment on the request can:
- Speak at the IURC public field hearing at 6:00 p.m. on February 13, 2020 at Bright Elementary School, and/or
- Send written consumer comments to the OUCC by February 17, 2020.
The OUCC issued a November 6, 2019 news release to invite public comments.
All publicly filed documents are available online in the IURC case file.
LMH is seeking the rate increase through the state's Small Utility Filing Procedure. The procedure is a streamlined process aimed at reducing rate case expenses. But the standard of review by the OUCC and IURC is the same as in all rate cases.
Current rates for LMH were approved in 2009.
This page will be updated based on case developments.
