Marshall County Prenatal Yoga
Join us at LifePlex in Plymouth, IN, for Marshall County Prenatal Yoga, a supportive and educational experience for women at all stages of pregnancy. From April through October, take part in weekly prenatal yoga sessions on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, where you'll learn yoga poses and breathing techniques that support fetal positioning and the birthing process. After yoga, stay for a monthly 45-minute prenatal education session, covering essential topics like fetal development, labor expectations, and postpartum care. Childcare is provided by Fitness Forum and the Marshall County Health Department, and transportation is available through Marshall County Transpo (pre-scheduling required). Connect with other moms, learn from experts, and prepare for your journey into motherhood. Check out our event calendar above for full details on dates and topics.

The Sharps Disposal Program provides Marshall County residents with a safe and free way to dispose of needles, syringes, and lancets. By picking up a free sharps container from the Marshall County Health Department, individuals can ensure that used needles are disposed of properly, reducing the risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens and protecting the community from potential health hazards.
Residents can drop off their full sharps containers at the Marshall County Health Department, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. For prescription medication disposal, a secure drop box is available at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, offering a safe and responsible way to dispose of unwanted medications.

NaloxBox
Outside the Marshall County Health Department, the NaloxBox stands as a symbol of hope and support for those impacted by opioid addiction. This opioid rescue kit provides FREE Naloxone nasal spray, an FDA-approved medication that rapidly reverses opioid overdoses. As an opioid antagonist, Naloxone binds to opioid receptors, blocking the effects of substances like heroin, morphine, and oxycodone. By making Naloxone easily accessible, the NaloxBox empowers the community with a lifesaving tool to respond to emergencies and prevent overdose deaths.
In addition to the NaloxBox at the Marshall County Health Department, there are five other locations throughout Marshall County where individuals can access Naloxone or safely dispose of medications. These sites, including law enforcement offices, healthcare facilities, and community centers, ensure that help is always within reach.
