Preparedness

How the Clinton County Health Department Emergency Preparedness engages in daily activities?

The Clinton County Health Department (CCHD) Emergency Preparedness Division is engaged in pre-planning and coordination with private and public sector agencies, to lessen the effects of all-hazards emergencies. All CCHD staff members participate in the National Incident Management System/Incident Command System (NIMS/ICS) training and exercise to transition daily programs into appropriate Centers for Disease Control and Prevention preparedness capabilities.

Collaboration among the Clinton County Health Department and private and public sectors is important to set the proper foundation to educate and achieve comprehension of emergency preparedness pre-planning. This will ensure that the Clinton County Health Department achieves the development of a robust All-Hazards Emergency Operations Plan.

Mission: Our Mission is to Prepare, Promote and protect the health and welfare of residents, businesses, and partner agencies of Clinton County; respond and provide direction to all-hazard emergencies.
