International Trade Services

Indiana agricultural companies interested in expanding internationally have access to several resources. The Economic Development Division has dedicated staff to help you connect to resources through the following:

  • Education & Outreach – We can access trade reports, industry snapshots and other educational handouts, as well as conduct company visits to aide Indiana’s agricultural companies in their export success as well as for our staff to learn more about Indiana’s ag industry. We also work with the Indiana Small Business Development Center to support the Export Indiana Accelerator Program and the Indiana Agribusiness Initiative and with Food Export Association of the Midwest to promote the Export Essentials online learning modules.
  • Financial Assistance – We work with colleagues at USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, US Small Business Administration, US Commercial Service, Export-Import Bank, IN-STEP, Food Export Midwest and other partners to help connect you to their financial resources for your and international marketing and development activities,
  • Promotion – We promote Indiana through trade missions, business-to-business meetings, facility tours and networking opportunities for Indiana agricultural companies interested in exporting their products. We can also help you identify opportunities for domestic and international trade shows.
