National Resource Center for Supported Decision-Making
The National Resource Center for Supported Decision-Making has an extensive library of resources compiled from organizations across the country. It also offers state-by-state details about guardianship and supported decision-making.
Working Interdisciplinary Networks of Guardianship Stakeholders (WINGS) are court-led partnerships aimed at creating changes in guardianship policy and practice. The website provides details on state-level projects, including Indiana’s own WINGS project.
The Jenny Hatch Justice Project
The Jenny Hatch Justice Project will inspire and support strength and justice through advocacy, information, research and education, by giving people with disabilities, families, advocates, attorneys, professionals the tools they need to protect and promote the rights of people with disabilities to make their own choices and determine their paths and directions in life.

The Indiana Adult Guardianship State Task Force is a multidisciplinary work group of public and private key stakeholders and advocates convened to examine the public policy and service delivery issues and needs related to adult guardianship in Indiana.
National Center for State Courts
The National Center for State Courts recently launched Finding the Right Fit: Decision-Making Supports and Guardianship, an online training to support someone who needs help making decisions and managing life. This engaging, interactive course has something for everyone: friends and family members, guardians, and individuals who want to plan for their own future or need help now. The course explains legal concepts in plain language. It includes three tracks: supporting decisions, using legal options to support or substitute decision-making, and serving as a guardian. The training also offers realistic scenarios to help users develop strategies for their own lives.

The Arc of Indiana provides information on guardianship and alternatives to guardianship, including supported decision making. The Arc also has additional resources on future planning for individuals with disabilities.
PRACTICAL Tool for Lawyers
The American Bar Association’s PRACTICAL tool serves as a resource for lawyers to identify possible less restrictive alternatives to guardianship. It provides a checklist lawyers can follow when interviewing and working with clients.
