Aspen Clemons is a proud Hoosier born and raised in Anderson, IN and serves as the Director of the Indiana Commission for Women. With a background in government, higher education, and advocacy, Clemons brings valuable public policy, capacity building, and strategic thinking experience to the Commission. Her work is rooted in bettering the lives of everyday Hoosiers.
Clemons is excited to increase the reach and impact of the Indiana Commission for Women, the state’s go-to resource for insight regarding the challenges facing and opportunities available for all women throughout Indiana. In her role she is responsible for fostering statewide relationships, providing educational opportunities, and honoring the work and lives of Indiana women.
Clemons holds a Master of Science degree in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from Spelman College.
