Adults:
If you are an adult, the chart below will indicate the best initial place to apply for health care coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Adults with household incomes of approximately 138% of the Federal Poverty Level or less should apply through the state of Indiana at http://www.dfrbenefits.in.gov/ using the state application. Adults with household incomes between approximately 138% and 400% of the FPL may be eligible for subsidized coverage through the federal health exchange and should apply at http://www.healthcare.gov/ using the federal application. Adults with household incomes over 400% FPL may apply for coverage at http://www.healthcare.gov/, but may also seek coverage via the existing commercial health insurance market.
