The 2025 Data Harvest Begins!
Each year the Indiana Geographic Information Office gathers data from each of Indiana's 92 counties to support a variety of mission-critical activities across the State of Indiana. Data Harvest data contributes to maps, applications, dashboards, and analysis critical to the Census, transportation, broadband, tax distribution, Next Generation 9-1-1, environmental management, public health, and more.
As in previous years, we are requesting county address points, land parcels, road centerlines, and government boundaries. While the schema has not changed, 17 additional counties will submit their data to the IGIO's data validation platform, bringing the total number of counties validating their data as part of the submission process to 45. There is a preferred data specification for file geodatabases or shapefiles, and more information about the process can be found at https://dataharvest.gio.in.gov/.
Data submissions can be made starting August 1st, with a final deadline of August 29th, 2025.
