SEED Grant NOFO Revisions

If you're a SEED Grant recipient, or considering submitting a SEED Grant application, we want to make you aware of a few important changes to the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Document. After reviewing feedback and assessing current needs, we’ve revised the document to improve clarity, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with current practices.

Please download the updated version from the SBA grant solicitation page. All revisions are documented in Section 12 for ease of reference.

Key Updates:

1. We have assigned names to the performance tasks (Section 7.2) for clarity and consistency as follows: 
   1. Milestone One: Minimum Requirements for Uploading Data to Indiana VEP
   2. Milestone Two: Schema and Domain Requirements
   3. Milestone Three: Project Completion
2. To better align with the grant agreement contract, quarterly reporting will begin from the Performance Period Start Date rather than at the end of the calendar quarter based on the Contract Execution Date (Section 8.1.4).
3. Activity and financial reports may be submitted up to 10 business days before the end of the quarter (refer to Appendix B).
4. The IGIO will review Activity Reports within 10 business days of receipt (refer to Appendix B).
5. To allow for reimbursement as soon as possible for work completed, reimbursement may be requested at the end of the quarter for all milestones completed during that quarter (Section 7.2).
6. The "Minimum GIS Data Requirements for Uploading Data to Indiana VEP" document provided with the grant award is being added to the NOFO document as Appendix A.
7. The newly created "Activity and Financial Reporting Guidance" is being added to the NOFO document as Appendix B.

Additionally, Appendix B has been added to the "Example Activity Report" and "Example Financial Report" documents available for download in the Files section of the solicitation on the SBA website. Appendix A and Appendix B are available separately for download as well.
