The Indiana Geographic Information Office (IGIO), in collaboration with ACEC Indiana, is offering a valuable opportunity for engineering professionals looking to integrate cutting-edge geospatial technology into their workflows. This 90-minute webinar will provide insights into Indiana’s statewide Imagery, Elevation, and Data Harvest programs, equipping attendees with the knowledge they need to optimize infrastructure planning and development.

Unlocking the Power of Geospatial Data

The IndianaMap open data portal grants access to authoritative datasets and web services that play a crucial role in engineering projects. Whether you're designing roads, analyzing terrain, or managing construction workflows, these datasets can enhance decision-making and efficiency.

Participants will receive live demonstrations on utilizing the IGIO’s imagery and elevation data in CAD and GIS software, including:

  • IndianaMap and AGOL Maps
  • Bentley MicroStation
  • AutoCAD Civil3D

Additionally, attendees will learn how to download resources from Indiana’s AWS Open Data repository to seamlessly integrate high-quality geospatial data into their projects.
