The Indiana Courts Portal is a website for Indiana attorneys and law firms, mediators, judges, and court staff to exchange information with the Indiana Office of Judicial Administration. It is not a site for accessing court cases or documents.

Public users

Anyone may search mycase.in.gov for public (non-confidential) case information and documents, and many documents are available online, free of charge. If you are interested in filing in a case or accessing the documents filed in your case, you can sign up for an e-filing account. You are not eligible for an Indiana Courts Portal account, and the Courts Portal does not provide access to cases or filing.

Law firm or attorney employees

If you work for an attorney, you may be eligible to become an account administrator, giving you access to update the attorney's contact information, report CLE, complete annual registration, or pay fees. Attorneys must sign into their own account and invite you to manage their account. Being an account administrator does not give you access to view an attorney's cases on mycase.in.gov. Only attorneys are approved for this access, and they should not share their passwords with anyone per the terms of use.

See Add or Remove Account Administrators and Manage Account Holders Information for more on being an account administrator.

Court reporters

Court reporters are notified about appeals only when they have been granted access to the portal and create an account. If you are a court reporter, you can request access to the portal through the Appellate Clerk’s Office. Your supervising judge will be notified of your request before information on creating a portal account is sent to you.

Court interpreters

Court interpreters and interpreter candidates can access the Portal, which allows them to keep their contact information and interpreter registry listing up-to-date.To request an account, contact the Court Interpreter Program. Learn more about the Court Interpreter Certification program.
