2008 Waste Tire Management Fund Grant Program

The creation of the Indiana Waste Tire Management Fund (WTMF) program is to help Indiana organizations undertake research, development, demonstration, and/or commercial manufacturing projects that help develop markets for the use of Indiana waste tires. Grants are available for projects that utilize, impact and/or consume a large volume of Indiana waste tires. Key elements include project partnerships, technology transfer and beneficial end uses for Indiana waste tires.

The Office of Pollution Prevention and Technical Assistance (OPPTA) worked to implement a new, comprehensive waste tire funding assistance program. Information regarding the funding opportunities and guidance are available as of May 1, 2008, on this website or by contacting the Waste Tire Grants Manger at (800) 988-7901. OPPTA will make provisions for confidentiality in proprietary information.

Please Note: The grant funding is subject to availability of funds and completion of a grant agreement.
