Vectren South Electric & Natural Gas Rate Cases

An Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) order approving new electric rates and charges for Vectren Energy Delivery (Cause No. 43111) was issued on August 15, 2007. The IURC issued an order approving new natural gas rates and charges for customers in the "Vectren South" service territory (Cause No. 43112) on August 1, 2007.

Both orders affect rates for counties in southwestern Indiana formerly served by Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Co. In both cases, the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC), Vectren and other intervening parties reached settlement agreements.

Natural gas rates for customers in the "Vectren North" territory - which includes portions of central, south-central and southeastern Indiana formerly served by Indiana Gas Co. - were not at issue in either of these cases. New natural gas for the Vectren North territory have been approved in IURC Cause No. 43298, with more information available by clicking here.
