Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is seeking IURC approval of a proposed electric energy efficiency plan for 2017 through 2019. The Cause Number is 44841.

The OUCC, I&M, industrial customers and the City of Fort Wayne have reached a settlement agreement, now pending before the Commission.

The public case file, including testimony and exhibits filed by I&M, is available by visiting the IURC website and entering cause number 44841.

I&M is offering energy efficiency programs under IURC orders issued in December 2014 and June 2016.

In the most recent case, Cause No. 43827 - DSM 5, the OUCC recommended denial of I&M's request to recover lost revenues and shareholder incentives through rates. The IURC order denied shareholder incentives. It approved the recovery of lost revenues through customer rates, capping the recovery at a 4-year period.

The OUCC issued a November 2015 news release to invite consumer comments. To review the case file, visit the IURC website and enter cause number 43827.

The OUCC website offers an overview of energy efficiency cases including the agency's role.
