Water Service Company of Indiana (WSCI) has been granted water and sewer rate increases in Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) Cause No. 44104. WSCI provides service in Jasper and Newton Counties.

The IURC issued a 35-page order in this case on March 27, 2013.

The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) filed testimony on May 23, 2012 recommending reductions to the utility's proposed increase.

The OUCC issued news releases on February 16, 2012 and April 13, 2012 inviting consumer comments. An IURC public field hearing was held May 2, 2012 in DeMotte.
