In 2013, Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) received approval to install new pollution control equipment at its Rockport Generating Facility in southwestern Indiana. This includes approval to recover construction costs through rates.

For a summary, please see the OUCC/I&M November 2013 news release.

In a previous case (IURC Cause No. 44033), I&M sought approval for a larger and more expensive emissions reduction plan.

I&M filed a motion to dismiss the case in February 2013, which the IURC granted in March.
