The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) issued an order in Cause No. 43790-U on June 3, 2010. For a copy of the 13-page document in PDF format, please click here.

The order approves a settlement agreement between Driftwood Utilities, Inc. and Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC), establishing a new flat, monthly residential sewer rate of $38.10. In its original filing, the utility sought a new residential base rate of $45.63. Driftwood Utilities provides sewage disposal service in Bartholomew County.

The OUCC issued a January 15, 2010 news release inviting public comments.
