Brown County Water Utility Rates

Brown County Water Utility's current rates received Commission approval in Cause No. 45720.

  • The Commission's Dec. 28, 2022 order approved a settlement agreement among the OUCC and the utility.
  • All documents filed in this case are available through the IURC's electronic document system.
  • The agreement will increase rates for residential water customers using 5,000 gallons from $63.43 to $67.80. By comparison, the utility's initial proposal would have raised the rate to an amount ranging between $69.71 and $72.56 depending on the terms and amount of financing the utility received.
