Fortville Municipal Water Rate Case
On April 22, 2009, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) issued an interim order in Cause No. 43551-U, the Fortville Municipal Water Utility’s request for an increase in its rates. A final order in this case was issued on October 7, 2009.
An IURC public field hearing in this case was held Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Mount Vernon Intermediate School near Fortville. The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) issued an October 17, 2008 news release to announce the hearing. The OUCC also issued an October 1, 2008 news release inviting written consumer comments.
