Hoosier grain producers have the best protection available from the Indiana Grain Buyers & Warehouse Licensing Agency (IGBWLA) and the Indiana Grain Indemnity Corp (IGIC). However, to be protected you need to verify that you’re dealing with an Indiana licensed grain buyer or warehouse.
The Indiana Grain Buyers and Warehouse Licensing and Bonding Law, I.C. 26-3-7 was amended to allow the publication of current licensees and the counties that they reside in effective July 1, 2009.
