THE US 31 KOKOMO CORRIDOR PROJECT IS A STUDY OF TRANSPORTATION NEEDS AND POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS ALONG US 31 IN THE CITY OF KOKOMO AND HOWARD COUNTY, INDIANA.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
American Structurepoint has been selected as the project design consultant. The corridor has been divided into ten contracts:
- Contract One involves three overpass bridge projects for CR200S/Southway, CR50N/Carter, and CR200N
- Contract Two is from just north of Kokomo Creek to just north of the CR100S/Boulevard interchange.
- Contract Three and Contract Nine have been combined which is from just south of SR26 to just north of Kokomo Creek.
- Contract Four is from CR550N in Tipton Co. to just south of SR26.
- Contract Five and Contract Eight have been combined which is from just south of the interchange at US35/SR22 to just south of the Touby Pike interchange.
- Contract Six and Contract Ten have been combined which is from just south of the Touby Pike interchange to just north of the CR400N/US35 N Jct. interchange.
- Contract Seven is from just north of the CR400N/US35 N Jct. interchange to just north of the north terminus interchange
- Contract Eleven involves three environmental mitigation sites: Stream mitigation at a Log jam site in Jerome; Stream mitigation in The Reserve along East Fork of Little Wildcat Creek; Wetland mitigation for Tudor Drain.
