Computer Based Training
There are several ways you can use the following Computer Based Training to count towards your continuing in-service training requirement. Perhaps the most convenient way will be to give your training officer a copy of the certificate that shows successful completion of the training for your training record. This certificate will have a course number on it which should be used for your continuing in-service training requirement.
If you failed your attempt at the quiz or your training officer wishes to use another method for validating that training occurred, you may receive credit for this training by having an LETB certified instructor review the material in this training module with you. If that instructor is satisfied that you have retained the information presented in this training module, that instructor may sign a training sheet just like the instructor would for any other training.
In addition, an instructor could show that learning occurred by using the two (2) following methods:
- by creating another testing method (either academic or a skills demonstration) and present it to the officer.
- by incorporating the training module into a larger training session on the subject.
KNOWN TROUBLE ISSUE:
If you experience a problem with these training programs where they will not progress to the next slide, it is due to an issue on your network. This problem can be resolved by bringing the issue to the attention of your network administrator.
