Annual Filing
In accordance with Indiana Code 27-1-15.8-4(3), surplus lines producers are required to file the surplus lines company’s annual statement filed with its state of domicile and the NAIC by March 31st for evaluation as to whether the company will be authorized as a surplus lines carrier. The surplus lines producer should submit statements for those surplus lines companies it currently places or is anticipating placing business with during this year.
